This year’s Garden Fest was held on May 8 in the Enid A. Haupt Garden and it was a huge success!
Hundreds of people came out to walk through the gardens, enjoy the sunshine, and of course, to see our exhibit about honey bees!
The exhibit’s highly interactive elements attracted a lot of attention. People, young and old, wanted to touch the hives, take a photo as a beekeeper, and to share their opinions on our whiteboard.
Overall, Garden Fest was a great day. People had fun and a learned a lot in the process. We look forward to doing it again for Pollinator Week!
